LWML

God says,"….Pray for one another…." James 5:16b. Prayer is our strongest link to our Lord and very powerful in our church. Our Prayer Chain is a group of our members who are "linked" together to pray for all of the prayer requests that we receive. We love nothing more than to pray for your needs, your families, friends, everyone in your lives, to weep when your weeping, and to rejoice when you are rejoicing. The more people we have "linked" to our chain, the stronger we become. When you contact either Dawn Jones or myself with a request, it is sent out to everyone on our lists. You don’t have to call anyone, we do that for you. To become a link, all you have to do is give us your phone number or email, however you prefer to be contacted and when you receive a request, stop and pray. Believe me there is nothing more wonderful than knowing there is a strong army of prayer warriors praying for you. We have seen prayers answered in our lives and the lives of others. You will be receiving a flyer in your mailboxes about the Prayer Chain. please consider joining us. Our chain has 20 links but we would love to add more.

"Rejoice always, pray without ceasing,
give thanks in all circumstances,
for this is the will of God
in Christ Jesus for you."<1 Thessalonians 5:16

  ANNOUNCEMENTS...

There are now little purple Prayer Cards in each pew. This is a great way for you to write your prayer request down. As you first come into church, if you have a request, please write it down on the purple card whether its for Pastor or the Prayer Chain and give them to the ushers, they will give them to Pastor Gross as he enters the church. Please do not put them in the offering plate.

Our next LWML meeting is Saturday, November 11 at 10:00a.m. We have a special guest speaker and will set up for the Boutique and Bake Sale happening Sunday, November 12 after each service. Flyers will be coming out about this special event. Please come and join us.

Our most exciting mission outreach project that we are involved in is sewing LITTLE DRESSES FOR AFRICA. These are pillowcase dresses and we are asking the congregation to join us in this wonderful project. We need women who like to sew, those of us who don’t to cut out patterns, and we need pillowcases. They like bright colored ones so we need standard, queen, and king pillowcases.

Those with October birthdays are invited to come and celebrate your birthday with us after the late service November 5 in the Fellowship Hall.
