Welcome!
Worship Times
Sunday Worship is at 8:00am and 10:30am, year around. Both services are traditional. Services are also held on Wednesday evening during Lent and Advent. Holy Communion is celebrated every Sunday at both services.
Between services, at 9:15, there is an adult Bible class in the Fellowship Hall. Children's Sunday School is in the Fellowship Hall next to the church, also at 9:15.
There is an adult Confirmation Class after the second service.
Child care for infants through toddlers aged 5 and under is available upon request every Sunday from 8am to noon in the Fellowship Hall in the room just behind the stage.
What to Expect
What's a service like?
We use the Lutheran Service Book, and our services are liturgical. It's easy to follow along as the full service is printed in the weekly bulletin, distributed as you enter the Sanctuary, and can also be found online here.
What's the music like?
Music is an integral part of every worship service here at Zion. Organ, piano, choir, handbells, or other instruments provide music.
What about my kids?
Children are welcome. In fact, there is a Childrens' Lesson given each week by our Youth Minister (DCE) where children come forward to hear God's Word. There is also a "quiet room" just off the narthex for those unexpected disturbances, diaper changes, etc. We want everyone to be able to worship. Families with small children and babies will enjoy the convenience of our child care center, available every week during both services at the Fellowship Hall.
Where do I park?
Ample parking is available next to the building.
